Privacy notice
MainStreetSitesUS is a small web design studio run by Ben, based in Wake Forest, NC. This page explains, in plain English, what information this website collects and what happens to it. Questions? Email Ben@MainStreetSitesUS.com.
The contact form
When you send the “free audit” form, it collects what you type in:
- your name, business name and email address (required);
- the type of business you choose from the list (required);
- your phone number, current website and message (optional).
Along with that, the site records when the form was sent, which page it was sent from, and your IP address and approximate country. These are used only to spot spam and abuse. The form also has two hidden anti-spam checks (an empty “trap” field and how long the form took to fill in).
What happens to it: your submission is sent as an email to Ben’s inbox so he can reply to you. It is not saved in a database on this website. It is used only to respond to your request and to talk with you about your project. It is never sold, rented or shared for marketing, and you won’t be added to a mailing list. The email stays in Ben’s inbox as a record of your conversation unless you ask for it to be deleted.
Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and the contact-form email and protects the site from attacks and spam. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, and keeps short-term technical logs. Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary security cookies used for bot protection. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or Google Analytics. Basic, privacy-friendly visit statistics may be collected through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and never sent anywhere.
The “before / after” demo on the homepage includes an embedded Google map. When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which handles that data under Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent through the form at any time by emailing Ben@MainStreetSitesUS.com. This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children.
